Erik Lande, Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist (PSY#19202)

  • Dr. Lande is the founder of Insight Neuropsychology. A clinical psychologist with a specialty in neuropsychology, rehabilitation, and assessment of decision making capacity, he consults with the Ventura County Rapid Response Expert Team for Adult Protective Services, and he also advises other community groups such as the Ventura Brain Injury Center.

    Previously, Dr. Lande has worked as a neuropsychologist with Pacific Neuroscience Medical Group and at Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara. Dr. Lande has been a lecturer for the University of California, Santa Barbara, for the graduate program in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology and also served as the Director of the Psychology Assessment Center at UCSB. In addition, Dr. Lande has also been a lecturer at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California.

  • Dr. Lande provides capacity assessments to examine a person’s ability to manage financial and medical affairs.

    He also works as an expert witness and consultant on personal injury cases, and regularly represents plaintiff and defense cases.

Skye Stifel, Ph.D. Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP#3629)

  • Dr. Skye Stifel started her career as a special education teacher in Los Angeles. Since earning her doctorate, Dr. Stifel has worked as a school psychologist in preschool through high school programs in Southern California. In addition to her practice, Dr. Stifel has taught in various graduate psychology programs in Southern California.

    Dr. Stifel provides assessment, consultation, and advocacy services based upon her unique experience of working with school districts. Dr. Stifel hopes to help school-aged children and young adults as well as their families in achieving academic, emotional and social success via assessment, counseling and advocacy.

Robert Duff, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist (PSY#29147)

  • Dr. Duff earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2014. He has completed a dissertation on internet-based psychotherapy, as well as books on anxiety and depression. He currently providing online and in-person psychotherapy, as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessment services.

    Robert has provided services at the Hosford Clinic in Santa Barbara, focusing on individual psychotherapy with adults and adolescents, as well as with Kaiser in San Diego. He also has worked with the Brain Injury Center in Camarillo, where he provided individual and group therapy to individuals with traumatic brain injuries.

Marina Wischnack, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist (PSY#30360)

  • Dr. Wischnack is a licensed psychologist in California and earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She currently provides psychological and neuropsychological assessment with Insight Neuropsychology, and also has special interests in clinical sport psychology, treating substance use disorders, and providing couples therapy.

    Prior to joining the Insight Neuropsychology team, Dr. Wischnack worked as a staff psychologist in the Substance Treatment and Recovery Services clinic at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). She completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and her postdoctoral residency at the Oklahoma City VAMC, where she specialized in treating individuals with chronic mental illness.

    International adoption agencies typically require a pre-adoption evaluation or adoption readiness evaluation as part of the mental health screening process for those seeking to adopt a child internationally. Countries differ in their requirements for these psychological evaluations, so Dr. Wischnack will collaborate with you and the adoption agency you are working with to ensure all requirements are met.

    At minimum, these evaluations will include an in-depth clinical interview as well as administration of the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), which is a well-researched measure of personality and psychopathology in adults. Andre Petrossian, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist (PSY#33886)

 
  • Dr. Petrossian is a licensed psychologist in California. He earned his Psy.D. from California Lutheran University, where he completed research on the impact of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder on concussion assessment scores in NCAA athletes and United States military cadets. He completed his internship at the VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville, Illinois, where he provided services to military Veterans experiencing a wide array of presenting problems.

    In addition to neuropsychological testing, Dr. Petrossian provides online and in-person therapy services, ADHD testing, accommodations testing, and other psychological testing services to individuals across the lifespan in both Ventura and Los Angeles County. He has served as a member of an interdisciplinary concussion clinic team, completed training focused on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and has extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Dr. Petrossian also serves a lecturer at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California.
